My Impossible List

The idea of an ‘Impossible list’ has been a thing to me since about 2015 after watching Thomas Franks video who got the idea from Joel Runyon where it is the idea of a more actionable version of a bucket list where you review your goals once they have been completed then further or change them with the appeal of self-improvement and to always have something to achieve. For now, my list is quite short as I splurge my current ideas of what goals I have but over time this should get longer as I strive for more things and complete certain goals. These are somethings I have always wanted to do, although not currently very crazy/wild I’m sure they will get more ambitious over time, for now, this is the result after a 10 min brainstorm of what goals I have.

Personal/Habit Goals:

  • Do yoga for 30 days in a row
  • Journal for 30 days in a row
  • Write 500 words for 30 days in a row
  • Read for 20 mins a day for 10 days
  • Complete a NANoWriMo
  • Learn to play piano (ie, relearn the basics)
  • Speak fluent Welsh
  • Learn basic French
  • Low waste living for one month
  • Take dance lessons again
  • Write my own musical

Professional Goals:

  • Reach 10,000 views in a year on this blog
  • Reach 5,000 views in a month on this blog
  • Have a sponsored blog post
  • Reach 10 paid commissions
  • Draw 100 portraits
  • Have my art publicly displayed
  • Work with a brand
  • Create my own business
  • Earn my first £500 from my art

  • Write an online course

What goals would you have on your impossible list?
